Several vulnerabilities have been identified in Palo Alto Network’s Expedition, a migration tool designed to assist organizations in transitioning their firewall configurations to Palo Alto’s PAN-OS. These vulnerabilities, if exploited, could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the root user. Successful exploitation may allow attackers to install programs, and view, modify, or delete sensitive data, depending on the privileges of the compromised account.
